Racket of the line “ADIPOWER ATTK”, the ADIDAS brand, in its version 1.8. Composed of 3k carbon fiber, a structural reinforcement in the face composed of carbon aluminized and a core of gum EVA HIGH MEMORY, a medium density gum. It has a diamond shape. It has a rough surface with a glossy finish.
When you take it for the first time you get the feeling of a powerful racket, very well finished and lightweight. The balance is directed towards the head but it is not something that you notice immediately. By placing the overgrips, you will be able to slightly optimise the swing towards the handle. If you cannot put more than 1 overgrip the option is also for placing tungsten tapes under the Overgrip (s) to lower the paddle balance. On the contrary if you want to add more power, place the ribbons on the top of the racket below or above the protector. This is a pretty viable option for when you like a lot of all the other features of a racket, less of your swing.
In play is a racket with a medium touch. Features a low, high placed sweet spot in lines with rackets of this format. In terms of power is fantastic, it will give you great pleasure when performing a smash hitting the sweet spot. It has a medium-short exit.
IN THE NET:
On the net, where this racket shines, the blows like trays and volleys come out very deep and precise without much effort.
BACK OF THE COURT:
The control from the back of the court is quite acceptable for this type of racket, and its output helps in this direction. Lacks a bit of handling. The lobs come out with ease.
The weight tested was 366gr. Surface: The surface is rough with glossy finish.
In sound terms is a racket that has a medium-sounding and medium-bass timbre.
The safety cord is simple and does not allow easy adjustment.
In terms of durability, it seems to be a solid racket, very well built and robust that will not break very easily. Well-esteemed will last a long time in my opinion.
- Excellent power
- Good output
- Very well achieved Visual
- Good vibration Absorption
- Safety Cord Not adjustable
- Low handling
In conclusion, this is a racket indicated for aggressive players of advanced level who seek additional power while maintaining some control and output. It has a medium hardness stroke and an average output. It’s a racket with a good commitment between power, control and output.
In the defensive phase, if you can get around the issue of handling, it wont give you major problems and the average output will help you.
On the net will shine in every way. Volleys and trays come out in depth with no problem. In the smash you will be happy to reach sweet spot, you can draw by 3, 4 and bring the ball back consistently.
The visual part is very attractive in my opinion, it’s the one of the most beautiful rackets I’ve tested. Surprisingly I did not feel vibration in the arm, but its high swing may eventually bring some discomfort after some time of play.
It serves, in my opinion, high-level and left-wing players who excel by aggressiveness in the net game. Excellent offensive option with good vibration absorption for those who have elbow problems. Good games!
