[dfrcs name=”BULLPADEL VERTEX 2 2017″]

Top-range racket of the Vertex line of the Bullpadel brand. It’s the 2017 edition of this racket. Composed of carbon and a core of BLACK EVA gum. It has a diamond shape and a rough surface with Matt finish.

When you pick up you get the feel of a manageable racket despite the format. The swing is directed towards the head by force of its diamond shape but it does not notice much. By placing three or more grips and with the help of tungsten or lead tape it is possible to put a lower swing.

The feeling is of racket with a “too” soft touch, a comfortable knock. It features a short sweet spot but not excessively. Power is one of its qualities but a bit short for a diamond-shaped racket. In the net you get controlled power when you hit the sweet spot. The control is pretty good for a racket with this mold which will be useful in the defensive stage. There’s some output, maybe excessive, but that gives you comfort without a doubt.

The weight tested was 363gr. After placement of 4 grips, it was a little more comfortable and with the swing slightly lower.

The surface is textured, with a mate finish.

In sound terms it’s a pretty quiet racket.

The safety cord is adjustable, which I always prefer.

In terms of durability, it seems to be a pretty solid and well built racket which leads to wanting that can have a long lifespan.

  • Visual Well achieved
  • High quality materials
  • Comfortable for Arm

  • Sweet Spot Reduced
  • Short Power
  • Excessive output

In conclusion, this is a racket for attack players who want a good commitment between power and control. It has a very soft hit and some output. It will help in the defensive phase and the transition to attack. It does not transmit large vibrations to the arm which does not exert too much strain on the tendons. The finishes are very good as well as the visual graphic. It is a high quality racket, which in my opinion serves players from low level to experienced players. A racket that leaves peculiar sensations, because it does not understand well if it is offensive or defensive, but it can be a good compromise for those who do not want to neglect any of the points.
