Racket of the line “VERTEX”, of the brand Bullpadel, in its version MASTER FINAL LTD. Edition. Consisting of a carbon tubular structure, a 1k carbon face, and a BLACK EVA gum core. It has a diamond shape. It has a smooth surface with matt finish. The protection is prepared to incorporate weights (included in the pack) to customize the weight of the racket, whether on the handle or head. The Hesacore grip comes also from origin.
Taking it for the first time is the sensation of a striking racket at a visual level and with careful finishes. The balance is directed to the head, in line with its diamond shape, yet has some sensation of lightness, by virtue of the 1k carbon that greatly reduces the amount of fibers incorporated.
By placing the overgrips, you will be able to slightly optimise the swing towards the handle. If you fail to place more than 1 overgrip the option also falls for putting the included weights to lower the paddle balance. On the contrary if you still want to add more power, put the weights included at the top of the racket at the spot indicated on the protector. This is a very viable option for when you like a lot of all the other features of a paddle, less the swing.
In-game is a racket with a touch of medium-soft hardness. Features a reduced sweet spot, in line with the format. In terms of power, nothing to say, will not fail you in this chapter, although not the diamond racket with the most power that we tested. It has a short exit to tender slightly to average. It is a comfortable racket, a characteristic of the brand in my opinion.
In the net:
In the net trays and volleys come out fluid and with a feeling of pleasure. It has reasonable handling with the original configuration (can change to more powerful or more manageable), which allows good reaction in the net. In the smash will be no problem.
Back of the court:
Control from the back of the court is reasonable, since it has reasonable handling, but reduced sweet spot can make less experienced players life difficult. The short output also requires a correct technique and well-finished strokes, which is not bad in my opinion, as it allows the player to take full control of the hit. Lobs come out fluid, but attention to sweet spot and technique not to stay short.
The tested weight was 368gr.
The surface is smooth with matt finish.
In sound terms is a racket that has a low sonority and with a medium timbre.
The safety cord is adjustable which is always best in our opinion.
In terms of durability, it appears to be a solid racket. Well cared for, it can last a long time with good performance.
- Customizable balance
- Adjustable Safety Cord
- Reduced Sweet Spot
In conclusion, this is an innovative and exclusive racket, as it comes with a customization kit and has manufactured a limited number of copies. It is a technical racket for experienced players, fruit of its format and sweet spot. In my opinion it is a racket that serves primarily a left-wing player. The high price and features of the racket makes it more recommended for experienced players.
It has a medium-soft stroke. The sweet spot is reduced. In the defensive phase the control is acceptable, the short output, reasonable handling (in its original version) and reduced sweet spot, make life difficult back there for less experienced players. The comfort however is very good and with the customization it is possible to make it much more manageable. In the net you’ll feel great. Volleys and trays come out accurately and easily. You can without any effort, draw by 3, 4 and bring the ball back.
The visual part is very interesting. A gloomy look that won’t leave anyone indifferent. The tact of medium-soft hardness is quite comfortable.
I did not feel practically vibration in the arm. The high swing however may weigh after some games.
An innovative and well-achieved racket by Bullpadel. Good games!
