Racket of the e “CANNON 720” line, from the renowned Spanish brand Cartri. Composed of a structure in carbon and fiberglass. Face in 7K Carbon and fiberglass. It has a dual EVA gum core. It has an oversize diamond shape. It has a smooth surface with glossy finish.

Racket Features:

First Impressions:

When you pick it up for the first time, you get the feeling of a racket with a lot of attention to detail. The swing tends to the head.

By placing the overgrips, you will be able to slightly optimise the swing towards the handle. If you fail to place more than 1 overgrip the option also falls for putting the included weights to lower the paddle balance. On the contrary if you still want to add more power, put the weights included at the top of the racket at the spot indicated on the protector. This is a very viable option for when you like a lot of all the other features of a paddle, less the swing.

GENERAL LINES:

In play is a racket with a medium touch. Fiberglass allows you extra comfort. The sweet spot is positive for an aggressive racket, given its oversize shape. The handling is reasonable, however you feel the weight on the head. In terms of power, it’s pretty good. It has an average exit to tender for discharge.

IN THE NET:

In the net trays and volleys go out aggressively. The blow is comfortable and the sweet spot is not very difficult to achieve, but the handleability is undoubtedly that of an aggressive racket. In the smash, you will feel the extra power of the racket and draw by 3, for 4 or bring the ball back naturally.

BACK OF THE COURT:

Control in the defensive zone is reasonable. The exit helps, but the manueseability and sweet spot penalize a bit in this area of the field. The lobs come out easily whenever you reach the sweet spot and you have to dose the force so as not to hit the glass.

Weight:

The weight tested was 369gr.

Surface:

The surface is smooth with glossy finish.

Sounding:

In sound terms is a racket that has a medium sound and with a medium timbre.

SAFETY CORD:

The safety cord is adjustable and quite comfortable.

Durability:

In terms of durability, it seems to be a very solid racket. Well cared for, it can last a long time with good performance.

Pros:

  • Power
  • Sweet spot
  • Adjustable Safety Cord

Cons:

  • Price something high, but concordant with a top racket
  • Handling

Conclusion:

In conclusion, this is a racket that aims to be an aggressive solution, keeping the traces of a control racket. A hybrid mold that allows good power without losing everything else.Serves players on both sides without any problem.

The visual part is very well achieved in our opinion, by contrasting the brightness with the matte effect in the center, where the black prevails, only with a discreet green note.

The touch is quite comfortable, eventually, after some playing time one feels some weight on the arm given the shape, however the vibration is minimal or non-existent in the tendon.A fantastic, top racket with high price, but its performance is worth every penny.

Good games!
