Racket of the line “TRIUMPH PRO CUP“, of the renowned Spanish brand Cartri, in its 2020 version. Composed of a carbon and kevlar structure. Carbon Face. It has a multi EVA gum core. It has a tear shape. It has a rough surface and a mixture between matte finish in the central logo and gloss on the remaining racket.

Racket Features:

First Impressions:

When you pick it up for the first time, you get the feeling of a well-finished and balanced racket. The swing is centered to tend very slightly towards the head.

By placing the overgrips, you will be able to slightly optimise the swing towards the handle. If you fail to place more than 1 overgrip the option also falls for putting the included weights to lower the paddle balance. On the contrary if you still want to add more power, put the weights included at the top of the racket at the spot indicated on the protector. This is a very viable option for when you like a lot of all the other features of a paddle, less the swing.

GENERAL LINES:

In play is a racket with a medium touch, tending to soft. Natural stiffness taking into account the materials used, such as carbon and kevlar. The sweet spot is quite positive for the format. The handleability is also quite reasonable for a racket of this format, does not feel too much weight on the head. In terms of power, it’s pretty good. It has a short output, tending slightly to average.

IN THE NET:

In the net trays and volleys come out with a natural fluidity. You feel comfort in the stroke and the good handling also helps. In the smash, with the correct technique you can draw by 3, by 4 or bring the ball back naturally. The rough face helps in performing the desired effects.

BACK OF THE COURT:

Control in the defensive zone is frankly positive. The output is short, but makes the racket more accurate. The sweet spot, is quite well for a tear racket. The handling, positive for the format, also helps to react to the most complicated balls. The lobs come out naturally, however it is advisable to have a correct technique so as not to be short.

Weight:

The weight tested was 365gr.

Surface:

The surface is rough with matt finish on the center logo and gloss on the remaining racket.

Sounding:

In sound terms it is a racket that has a medium-low sound and with a medium timbre.

SAFETY CORD:

The safety cord is adjustable and quite comfortable.

Durability:

In terms of durability, it seems to be a very solid racket. Well cared for, it can last a long time with good performance.

Pros:

  • Control/power ratio
  • Comfort
  • Handling
  • Adjustable Safety Cord

Cons:

  • Price something high, but concordant with a top racket

Conclusion:

In conclusion, this is a racket, very well executed and very balanced. A mold already tested a few times and one of our favorites without a doubt. An all-terrain option, with a very positive grade in all areas of the court. It perfectly serves players on both sides without any problem.

The visual part is very well achieved in our opinion, by contrasting the brightness with the matte effect in the center, where the black prevails, only with a discreet green note.

The touch is quite comfortable, eventually, after some playing time one feels some weight on the arm given the shape, however the vibration is minimal or non-existent in the tendon.A fantastic, top racket with high price, but its performance is worth every penny.

Good games!
