Racket of the TSUNAMI line, of the CARTRI brand in its version 2.0. Made up of carbon and fiberglass. It counts with a Black EVA D40 core, a medium density gum. It has a round shape and a rough surface in the center with Matt finish.

Racket Features:

First Impressions:

When you take it for the first time, you get the feeling of a very manageable racket. The swing is clearly directed towards the handle. By placing the overgrips, you will be able to further optimize the balance towards the handle. If you cannot put more than 1 overgrip the option is also for placing tungsten tapes under the Overgrip (s) to lower the paddle balance. On the contrary if you want to add more power, place the ribbons on the top of the racket below or above the protector. This is a pretty viable option for when you like a lot of all the other features of a racket, less of your swing.

General lines:

In play is a racket with a medium-hard touch.  It features a pretty ample sweet spot. In terms of power does not impress, it is clearly not its ‘ vocation ‘. It has an average output tending to short.

In the net:

In the net, it allows to react quickly to all the balls given its excellent handling. Volleys and trays come out with good precision and as an account still with some output, with good depth. In the smash you will not find great help, it must be the player to do all the work, with a good placement of body weight in the ball and correct technique. With enough effort and good technique you will occasionally be able to draw by 3 by 4 and bring the ball back, but there are much better options.

Back of the court:

Control in the defensive phase is in fact very good. Being very manageable and with and well adjusted output it will help you in difficult situations. The large sweet spot, together with excellent handling and balanced output make this a racket very easy and fit to any type of player. Lobs and defensive strokes flow out without much effort.

Weight:

The weight tested was 363gr.

Surface:

The surface is rough with matt finish.

Sound:

In sound terms is a racket that has an average sound and an equally medium timbre.

Safety cord:

The safety cord is adjustable and very comfortable.

Durability:

In terms of durability, it seems to be a solid and well built and robust racket that will not break very easily. Well-esteemed will last a long time in my opinion.

Pros:

  • Excellent handling
  • Easy and Permissive
  • Good control
  • Adjustable cord

Cons:

  • Clearly lacks power

Conclusion:

In conclusion, this is a racket indicated for players of medium level until advanced, who want a racket that allows him to evolve and learn all the strokes without problems or, in the case of a more advanced player, something very manageable and with excelent control.

In the net you will immediately feel the lack of power, but its spectacular handling and precise touch allowed to “forget” in some part that missing point. The output is adjusted, neither too much nor less. It counts with a hit of medium-hard hardness. In the smash, with very good technique and strength will be able to draw by 3, by 4 and bring the ball back, but one has to print even enough strength, otherwise will be hard. Trays and volleys come out deep and accurate.

The visual part is well achieved. Sober but very well conjugated in my opinion. Tastes are and will always be subjective. I felt some vibration in the arm, but not too much.

It serves, in my opinion, middle level players in the learning and transition phase, also serves fresh start players but, because it is a top-of-the-line racket, i always think there are cheaper options for those who are starting. It also serves in the perfection of advanced level players that base much or all of their game in control.

To highlight the innovative warranty confirmation system through QR Code that is printed on the racket itself.

A racket very well made, balanced and easy at an attractive price. Good games!
