[dfrcs name=”GLOBO PADEL J LINE”]

Racket of the line “J LINE”, of the GLOBO PADEL brand, a Portuguese brand that is now launching in the world of Padel. It is the junior version, conceived for the young talents who increasingly early start practicing this fantastic modality. Composed entirely of fiberglass. It has an EVA PAK gum core, a low density gum. It has a round shape and a rough surface with matte finish.

Racket Features:

First Impressions:

Taking it for the first time is the sensation of a well balanced and light racket. The balance  is clearly directed to the handle as you would expect. A racket for the younger players, but with all the details of a senior racket.

General lines:

In game is a racket with a soft touch, comfortable and easy. The sweet spot is wide. In terms of power, lack, but not bad for the concept of the racket. The handling is very good. It has an average output, being an easy racket, which allows the technical evolution of the youngest, but has a very interesting stroke for a racket of these characteristics.

In the net:

In the net, due to its ample sweet spot and excellent handling allows to learn well the offensive strokes. The tray is easy to learn and when well executed comes already with enough “poison”. The smash meets what you want.

Back of the court:

Control from the back of the court is perhaps its strongest point of all. The output is fairly well even with a smaller weight. Lobs and defensive strokes are easy to perform/learning, and the average output helps a lot.

The weight tested was 330gr, being manufactured only single weight.

The surface is rough with matt finish.

In sound terms is a racket that has a medium-high sonority and with a medium timbre.

The safety cord is adjustable and quite comfortable.

In terms of durability, it appears to be a robust and well-estimated racket that will have a normal duration.

  • Excellent handling
  • Wide sweet spot
  • Adjustable Safety Cord
  • Lightweight and comfortable
  • Price

  • I can’t find cons on this junior racket.

In conclusion, this is a very surprising racket, because it has all the characteristics of a professional racket, being a junior racket. Suitable for young people who are starting the practice of the modality or already evolving.

Allows for the improvement of the technique with ease. It has a soft hardness punch. It’s a racket that helps you train and learn all phases of the game without difficulty. The lightness and handling help in the net and the reasonable output and good sweet spot facilitates at the bottom of the field.

The visual part is well achieved, just like the rest of the line.

I didn’t feel any vibration in my arm. Its low balance, however, also helps not to strain the tendons too much.

It serves, in my opinion, young players on both sides, who want an easy racket and that allows for a correct technical evolution. Good surprise for the junior niche on the part of GLOBO PADEL.

Good games!
