Racket of the well-known Olympic line of the Kelme brand. It is the 2018 edition of a racket that was very successful in 2017. Made up of 100% carbon and a core of black EVA SOFT ULTRA. It has a hybrid shape that lies between the round shape and tear. It’s finished with a textured varnish.
The first impression is of a well-built racket and with a hybrid shape somewhat peculiar. The balance is directed to the head much by force of its shape. By placing three or more grips and with the help of tungsten or lead tape it is possible to put a relatively lower balance, but never at the level of a round-shaped racket, unless they choose not to put protector which is not recommended.
The feeling is of a racket with a medium touch, a solid hit as long as it reaches the sweet spot. It features a medium sweet spot, achieved by its hybrid format. Power is your big gun, allowing you to draw by 3 fairly easily for experienced players. In the net it impresses the power that can be achieved by hitting the sweet spot of the racket. Control is reasonable. It has little output but enough, which also helps in the defensive stage.
The weight tested was 360gr. After placement of 4 grips and protector, it was a little more comfortable and with the balance slightly lower.
The surface is finished with a textured varnish which really helps the level of effects.
In sound terms it is a racket with an average sound, increasing when it hits the sweet spot.
The safety cord is simple but comfortable by the materials used and size.
In terms of durability, it seems to be a solid, well-built racket that leads to wanting that you can have a long lifespan if you use a protector and have basic care.
- Excellent power/control ratio
- Very attractive Visual
- Swing too high
- Cord without adjustment
- Sweet Spot Reduced
In conclusion, it seems to me a very interesting racket for offensive players. With a solid hit and with some output, it will allow a good transition between the defensive and offensive phase, being quite good at the time to print power to the ball. It does not transmit large vibrations to the arm which does not exert too much strain on the tendons. The finishes are very good as well as your look. It is a high quality racket, which is best enjoyed by experienced players and in my opinion based on a more offensive game, preferably for a player on the left. A highly recommended racket that will not defraud anyone.
