Racket of the prestigious Tecnifibre brand, the Wall Master 350 line, the range that the brand defined as feminine. Composed of carbon and a core of high density EVA gum. It has a hybrid shape to tend to the round and a smooth surface with matt finish.
When you first pick it up you get the feeling of a solid and very light racket (the weight varies between 340-360gr for this model). The balance is relatively centered. By placing the overgrips, you will be able to optimize the balance in the direction of the handle. You can additionally put lead or tungsten stripes on the handle under the overgrips if you still want to lower it a bit.
In game it is a racket with a medium-hard touch. It features a medium-density gum. Its carbon structure gives it an extra stiffness. Presents a medium-high sweet spot. In terms of power is not the most indicated racket, however its hybrid shape allows, when well executed, a stroke with some power in the net. It has a short output tending to average. In the net trays and volleys come out with good depth. The control is reasonable from the back of the Court and in the defensive phase it helps for its lightness and handling. The lobs require an extra force to reach good depth.
The weight tested was 350gr.
The surface is smooth with matt finish.
In sound terms it is a racket that has an average sound and with a medium-severe timbre.
The safety cord is adjustable which is always a good option.
It should always be the norm in my opinion. In terms of durability, it seems to be a pretty solid and well built racket which leads to wanting that can have a long lifespan when well estimated.
- Adjustable cord
- Good value for money
- Lightweight and manageable
- Lack of power
- Touch somewhat hard for a racket of this range
In conclusion, this is a racket for players of a medium level. It has a medium-hard hit and short output tending to medium. In the defensive phase its handling helps to return as many balls as possible. In the net you can get some power, but requires precision in the sweet spot and good physical availability, perfectly in line with this type of models. With an experienced arm and some strong effort you will be able to draw by 3, by 4 and bring the ball back. I felt a slight vibration in the arm by its hard structure in carbon and its touch tending to hard. It serves players on both sides, who want a manageable racket, with a controlled touch at a very interesting price. A good bet for the lady line at a price well below most of the options on the market.
