The first junior racket tested by Tiebrekar, had the precious help of a tennis player under-10, so the analysis here takes account all of his contributions. Composed of carbon and a core of high density EVA gum. It has a round shape and a smooth surface with matt finish.
When you take it for the first time, you get the feeling of a solid, manageable racket. The swing is relatively centered to tend to the handle which is very good in a junior racket. By placing the overgrips, you will be able to optimize the balance in the direction of the handle. Do not recommend any additional weight except the overgrips.
In play is a racket with a medium touch. It features a very comfortable medium density gum. Its carbon structure gives it additional rigidity. Features a large sweet spot. In terms of power the evaluation was positive. It has an average output tending to short. In the net it is quite manageable and allows you to learn all the strokes in an easy way. Control is equally good and lobs come out easily.
The weight tested was 335gr.
The surface is smooth with matt finish.
In sound terms is a racket that has an average loudness and with a medium timbre the safety cord is adjustable which is always a good option.
It should always be the norm in my opinion.
In terms of durability, it seems to be a fairly solid and well-built racket which is very important in the hands of the smallest.
- Adjustable cord
- Good value for money
- Lightweight and manageable
- Touch could be slightly more soft
In conclusion, this is an ideal racket for junior players in the learning phase who need something that allows them to develop the technique in a comfortable way. It has a stroke of medium hardness and average output tending to short. It is manageable and lightweight, which is ideal for developing arms. In the net is consistent. The visual is attractive especially for the younger audience. I felt a slight vibration in the arm, its hard structure in carbon contributes to that. It could, as I mentioned, have a slightly more soft touch and possibly some anti vibration system. It serves, however, its purpose and the analysis of the “small player” was very positive. A good bet for the Junior line, since there are more and more kids starting to play and need something manageable at an affordable price.
