Racket of the range “Yaraa” of the prestigious Spanish brand VIBOR-A, in its version liquid 2018. Composed of a structure in carbon and Kevlar, face in fiberglass and carbon and a core of gum EVA SOFT. It has a tear shape. It has a rough surface with Matt finish.
When you take it for the first time you get the feeling of a very well-finished and quality racket. The swing is directed towards the head and this makes you feel right away and during the game.
By placing the overgrips, you will be able to slightly optimise the swing towards the handle. If you cannot put more than 1 overgrip the option is also for placing tungsten tapes under the Overgrip (s) to lower the paddle balance. On the contrary if you want to add more power, place the ribbons on the top of the racket below or above the protector. This is a pretty viable option for when you like a lot of all the other features of a racket, less its swing.
In play is a racket with a medium-hard touch. Presents a nice sweet spot for tear format. In terms of power is very well served and lives up to its predecessors. It has an average output, something different from previous versions that had a much shorter output.
In the net:
In the net trays and volleys come out accurate and potent with ease. There will be no problems in this chapter with this racket.
Back of the court: Control from the back of the court is also quite good despite its format. The above average sweet spot helps you respond to complicated balls, contuodo the high swing makes it a little less manageable than normal. The strokes come out deep with ease due to their average output. Lobs usually didn’t get short with this racket.
The weight tested was the 362gr.
Surface: The surface is rough with matt finish.
In sound terms it is a racket that has a loud sound and with a loud timbre.
The safety cord is adjustable as is the habit of the Vibor-a brand.
Durability: In terms of durability, it seems to be a solid racket, very well built and robust. Well cared for, it can last a long time with good performance.
- Adjustable cord System
- Good sweet spot
- Good power
- Little manageable
In conclusion, this is a very well designed racket with excellent materials. In my opinion it is a racket that mainly serves players on both sides given their polyvalence. It is a technical racket and recommended only for high level players in my opinion. It counts with a hit of medium-hard hardness and an average output. It is a racket with a good power and a wide sweet spot for tear format.. In the defensive phase has good output that will help you, only downside is its poor handling, but a technically evolved player will not have big problems.
In the net you can get enough power without much effort, what you lose in handling you gain no doubt in power and depth. Volleys and trays come out powerful and deep. You can pretty easely, draw by 3, 4 and bring the ball back. The rugged face helps in the intended effects.
The visual part is in my opinion it’s spectacular. A racket that won’t leave anyone indifferent in my opinion. I felt some vibration in the arm given its medium-hard tact. The swing to tend to the head also make some dent after an intense game, yet players with good preparation will not have major problems.
A very well balanced, multi-purpose racket with an above average power. You’ll hardly defraud anyone.
