[dfrcs name=”VOLT PADEL 700″]

Racket of the line “700”, of the Portuguese brand VOLT PADEL. Composed solely of carbon and a core of EVA SOFT gum, a medium-low density gum. It has a teardrop shape. It has a rough surface with a glossy finish.

Racket Features:

First Impressions:

By taking it for the first time you get the feeling of a racket visually striking and very well finished in all its details. The balance is directed towards the head, but it is not something that you notice immediately. By placing the overgrips, you will be able to optimize the balance in the direction of the handle. If you cannot put more than 1 overgrip the option is also for placing tungsten tapes under the Overgrip (s) to lower the paddle balance. On the contrary if you want to add more power, place the ribbons on the top of the racket below or above the protector. This is a pretty viable option for when you like a lot of all the other features of a racket, less of your swing.

The racket is quite balanced and I see no need to add additional weight.

General lines:

In-game is a racket with a medium-soft touch. Presents a pretty generous sweet spot for this tear format. In terms of power is very well equipped, coming to impress at this point not being a totally offensive racket. There’s a short output.

In the network:

In the net is is a very consistent racket and allows to achieve good depth in the strokes. With above-average handling for this type of format, it will allow you to react quickly and perform the hits properly and quickly.

Back of the court:

The back of the court control is quite good, does not reach the point of a round-shaped racket, but has an excellent commitment due to sweet spot and generous handling. The output is short to tend slightly to average, which I always prefer in a racket of this format, but this means that you have to perform a complete and technically correct blow so that the strokes are not short, with special attention to the lobs.

The weight tested was 375gr.

The surface is rough with glossy finish.

In sound terms it is a racket that has a medium-sounding and medium-low timbre.

Safety cord:

The safety cord is adjustable and very confortable.

In terms of durability, it seems to be a solid racket, very well built and robust that will not break very easily. Well-esteemed will last a long time in my opinion.

  • Good commitment between power and control
  • Above-average handling for this format
  • Very good visual
  • Adjustable cord

  • Output a tender for short (can be a positive point for some)

In conclusion, this is a racket indicated for mid-level players who like an aggressive game but do not want a purely offensive racket. Account with good power and handling and sweet spot above the average in this format, in my opinion. It has a stroke of medium-soft hardness and a short output to tender for medium.

It is a racket that will not disappoint you minimally in the defensive phase either play on the right or left and in the net will help you a lot to achieve good power and depth in all strokes. The rough face will help with the desired effects and the smash, when you reach sweet spot you can draw by 3, 4 and bring the ball back easily.

The visual part is one of the strengths of this racket in my opinion. It features a minimalist look and very well achieved. I didn’t feel practically vibration in the arm, but it’s not totally exempt due to its totally carbon structure that gives it good stiffness.

Its balance may eventually also bring some discomfort after some playing time for players with less physical preparation. It serves, in my opinion, offensive players of a medium level until advanced on both sides.

A pleasant surprise of undeniable quality of a project with Portuguese signature at a very competitive price. Good games!
